Opening Escrow

Once the purchase agreement is accepted and signed by all parties, escrow will be opened.

Escrow, a neutral third party, has all responsibility for handling funds and documents. Before title to the property can be transferred, the buyer must deposit into escrow all monies necessary to pay. The escrow company is then instructed to deliver the monies to the seller when the deed is forwarded to the title company for recording and the title company notifies, that a policy of title insurance can be issued showing title to the property is vested in the name of the buyer.
